About Us
We created The Passport Project with a simple idea in mind: life is better when we put our phones down and experience what’s right around us. Scrolling for hours to figure out where to go is exhausting, and too often it means we miss out on the amazing places in our own communities. We wanted something different, a fun, pocket-sized way to inspire adventure and make exploring effortless.
It all began in Edmonton with the very first Café Passport. Coffee has always been a natural gathering point, and highlighting independent spots gave people an easy way to step out of their routines and try somewhere new. The response from the community was amazing.
But for us, it’s never just been about the food or drinks. It’s about slowing down, supporting small businesses, and creating memories with friends, family, or even on your own. Every passport is designed to be more than just a guidebook, it’s an invitation to connect with your community in a real way.
We believe the best adventures don’t always require a plane ticket. Sometimes they’re just around the corner, waiting to be found. Whether it’s sipping a latte at a new café, grabbing a late-night slice, or hunting down the best burger, these little experiences are what turn ordinary days into something memorable.
That’s why The Passport Project exists, to help you spend less time scrolling and more time living, one stop at a time.
